The Jira integration syncs issues from your Jira projects into Mains’s entity store. Jira tickets become searchable locally and available as context in AI chat.

Authentication

Jira uses OAuth for authentication. Mains will open a browser window to authorize access to your Atlassian account.

Setup

Connect Jira

Go to Settings > Connections and click Connect next to Jira. Authorize Mains through the Atlassian OAuth flow.

Select Projects

Choose which Jira projects to sync. Only issues from selected projects will be fetched.

Initial Sync

Mains fetches existing issues and then syncs incrementally on subsequent runs.
